The third-highest price at the OBS April Sale this year (:20 4/5), SIGNATOR (Tapit) makes his debut after bringing a final bid of $1,700,000 from Lane's End Racing & West Point Thoroughbreds. Now racing for Woodford Racing LLC, Lane's End Racing, Phipps Stable and Ken Langone out of trainer Shug McGaughey's barn, Signator is a half-brother to MSW Giant Payday (Giant's Causeway) and GSW Annual Report (Harlan's Holiday), as well as a full-brother to GII Adirondack S. winner Thoughtfully. This is also the family of MGISW Dancing Spree (Nijinsky II), GISW Fantastic Find (Mr. Prospector), MGISW Finder's Fee (Storm Cat), and champion 3-year-old filly Heavenly Price (Seeking the Gold). Signator's yearling full-sister just brought $650,000 from Steve Young at the Keeneland September Sale. Jockey Joel Rosario picks up the mount. TJCIS PPs
